Boston Trip (Oct. 17-24)
We used the "Hop-On-Off Trolley" during our first couple of days.
USS Constitution in the Boston Navy Yard, Boston Harbor.
Ken and Alison, our friends from Perth, climbing aboard.
We also got to tour the USS Cassin Young near by.
With the home of the Boston Bruins in the background, a statue of Bobby Orr is hard to miss.
Along the "Freedom Trail" are many historic sights including the Old North Church.
Near by is the Paul Revere House and a stature of the man himself on horseback.
The Massachusetts State House with its gold covered dome.
The place of the "Boston Tea Party" where it is reenacted everyday for us tourists.
The New England Aquarium was a real treat with its multistory tank in the center.
Of course we had to go for a ride!
Fenway Park with the famous "Green Monster" wall off in the distance.
Sitting ON the "Green Monster" is Ken and Del on top and Alison in the lower right. I am just below at the railing shooting this picture.
View toward home from the top of the wall.
I love this fake law office window at Harvard Square in Cambridge.
Just a couple of pictures during our tour of Harvard University.
